INBC actively participated in the second Norway Asia Business Summit in Singapore. That Summit program provided some top line topics and speakers during its 1½ days. Its networking opportunities offered prime exposure to Chief Executives of businesses from Norway and Asia.
At the conclusion of the Summit, Delegates from Asian business organisations met to discuss the Singapore Summit and which city should be chosen as the venue for the 2012 Summit. The INBC Board is delighted that Jakarta was chosen with strong support of all the major Asian business associations.
In October 2011 the Royal Norwegian Embassy organised seminars on aquaculture and Indonesian – Norwegian gas partnership opportunities, and built around that, the second Norwegian Seafood Dinner was again held again at the Hotel Borobudur.
INBC is hosted a Business Breakfast on 4th October 2011, featuring the Chief Executive of Innovation Norway, Gunn Ovesen, as the Guest Speaker.
The following week the Norwegian Oil and Gas partners (INTSOK) had another Delegation following up their liaison efforts in the previous year with Indonesian oil and gas contractors. INBC was the facilitator and it held a Networking Evening on 11 October to enable Members and Friends to liaise with the INTSOK Delegates.
The year shall concluded with the traditional Christmas Buffet on 15 December 2011.
Obviously these events need to be sponsored in order to maintain low admission fees for all Members. The INBC Board is extremely grateful to both its Corporate sponsors for sponsoring the major events, and to its Individual Members for willingly sponsoring the Networking Evenings.
